To top off a great season, SPOC Basketball Club successfully recruited 23 School leavers to join the Club for the 2022 Winter season at the SPOC Welcome BBQ for Year 12s in October. Special thanks to Ned Duggan (FLL 2020), Thomas Ferguson (MAC 2020), Tom Bury (FRR 2019) & Luke Howes (DAC 1996) for helping out at the Year 12 BBQ. They managed to recruit 23 prospects for the 2022 winter season – an all-time record! (beating last years’ 18 new recruits) whilst William Strangways helped cook 400 sausages on the BBQs.
